Know I didn’t leave solely to run from something, but more to run towards something, better for myself and my descendants

Know it wasn’t easy, I sacrificed no knowing if it would be worth it but merely trusting myself enough to try

Settle into the idea that more I possible.

Get comfy with asking for more.

Before I go…

Let me guide you through my process because I want you to understand…

No there are no thrones in my hands or guns pointed at my head or an Underground Railroad in sight, but I can promise you I walked and am walking on a path towards more freedom.

Our ancestors had it harder and there are new obstacles we are finding

… I found a path, but it’s unpaved… how can I convince you it makes sense for me to act this way?

You don’t see the threat (or maybe you very well do)…

I am anticipating, planning, paving, growing, cultivating

For me and for you.

Before I go…

Know that there will be a path and home waiting for you, if you so choose this path of freedom.

Unpaved yet expansive, there’s no right way, and maybe that there is the most terrifying and beautiful part.
